Q. When can I apply for a place in St Mark’s Community School for my 6th class child?
A. This year applications will be accepted from Monday 2nd October to Monday 23rd October.
Q. Where can I get the application form?
A. It can be downloaded here or from the school website www.stmarkscs.ie If you prefer we can post or email it to you if you contact the school.
Q. How do I contact the school?
A. You can email office@stmarkscs.ie Please include your number if you would like a call or leave your question and we will get back to you as quickly as possible.

Q. Do I need to send any other documents with the application form?
A. Yes. You must enclose the original birth certificate of the child and proof of your address with the completed form. The birth certificate will be copied and returned to you.
Q. How will I return the application to the school?
A. You may post it or you may hand it in to the school.
Q. When will I know if my child is offered a place?
A. After the closing date for applications, October 23rd, all applications will be reviewed and places will be offered as outlined in our Admission Policy.
You will receive a letter from the school by November 20th. If your child is offered a place an Enrolment Form will be enclosed.
Q. What do I do when my child is offered a place?
A. It is very important that you accept the place.
You do this by completing the Enrolment Form and returning it to the school by December 4th. This deadline is binding.
This will secure the place for your child.
